Family Fest - August
Every August, The Family One hosts Family Fest—a fun-filled event for the whole family featuring games, food trucks, live music, and activities. This event is a community celebration of youth and families, showcasing the power of mentorship and the impact of our programs.
5K Wellness Walk/Run - April
In the Spring, we host a 5K walk/run and wellness Summit to promote physical health and wellness while raising funds for The Family One’s programs. This event brings the community together to support youth development and health initiatives.
Father’s Day Basketball Game - June
Each June, we organize a friendly “Kids vs. Dads” basketball game at the Douglass Community Center. It’s an exciting day of sports, community engagement, and family bonding, with all proceeds supporting our mentoring programs.
Toy & Coat Drive + 12 Days of Christmas - December
During the holiday season, we host our Toy & Coat Drive to ensure every child in Loudoun County has the essentials they need to stay warm and joyful. Additionally, our “12 Days of Christmas” campaign highlights the impact of your generosity, offering a chance to donate and give back during this festive time.
